The Race was actually very cool to watch. The number one position swapped so often due to various mishaps, blunders and some impressive driving. The track though is pretty tight and there isn’t much room for overtaking anywhere on the circuit. It also look horrendously bumpy in places. However, it didn’t detract from a great race to watch. What was interesting for me was the electric look of the reflected overhead lighting in the helmets of the drivers – It looked like tracer bullets!

I took my usual walk around the Funan Center and Sim Lim where there are thousands of shops side by side selling Tech Gear! The Carlton Hotel is still constructing its second wing which you can see from one of the photos in the gallery.
