While I can’t reveal what we were shooting in New Zealand, I can quickly talk about some of the fun we had. Filming took place on the 22nd of January 2009 on the South Island, near the township of Methven. The location was set on a farm which was nestled beneath Mt Hutt. New Zealand is a stunning place and reminds me of England, Switzerland and some parts of the USA. However it has a quality in the sunlight that in my opinion cannot be found elsewhere. It’s probably the fresh air but what ever it is, it’s certainly stunning.
The day started by building a rig around one of the farms ATV’s. Raman from the Shooting Gallery built a fantastic rig for me that worked a treat! In the meantime, the entire team worked hard to clear weeds and haul gear up and down the slopes. For now, here are a few shots from the shoot itself. More to come later.
