In late July, “Not Quite Hollywood” – the Mark Hartley directed documentary about genre film making in Australia, had its world premier at the Melbourne International Film Festival. It was very well received from what I hear (I was in Singapore on the night it premiered) however I did get to a screening at the Greater Union Cinema, later in the week. The project was quite a task – more then 4000 edits in the final picture lock off! However, the reactions from the audience speak for themselves – It was great! On that night, Tony Ginnane and Brian Trenchard-Smith were guests of honour for the evening!
